A little about me

My parents started me on piano and voice lessons when I was 8 years old. I studied with some amazing teachers for years before my dad’s job led us to move away. When I turned 16, I continued learning piano and voice on my own before going to college to study Music. During that time, I started teaching myself guitar, bass guitar, drums, violin, and later on, the cello. Since then, I have continued to build upon my musical knowledge in any way I can: by networking with other musicians, taking any and all opportunities to collaborate with people, and continuing my own education independently in all things music.

I have a great passion for music, and I believe that music should be a firm foundation in every person’s life, in some way, whether you’re an inspired listener or an actively exercising musician. I am so thankful for this opportunity to teach in this community and to share this information that will benefit my students for the rest of their lives. My hope is that lessons are an enjoyable and enriching experience for everyone involved!
